“I am writing to thank you for making my birthday party so successful. Everybody there had a wonderful time and I have had loads of letters saying how much they enjoyed the music and the dancing. I knew from what Tony Hadley had said before the party that the band would be excellent, but I was particularly impressed by everyone's professional approach. It was a fantastic evening for all my friends and family and the memory will live with us for many years to come.” Meridian Barn

“Thank you Red Sox for an amazing gig. Everyone is now talking about how good a night it was. The club has said that you are the best band they have ever had by far - amazing!
Thank you - the world’s best party band without question!!!!!!!!” Graham Etheridge

“We had a great time in Hythe on Saturday. I saw Ryan Adams at the Southampton Guildhall last year and you were much better.” Mark Smallridge

“Had a great night on Saturday at The Brook in Southampton partying down to The World Famous Red Sox (one of Jamie Moses' and Spike Edney's many 'franchises'). It had the same 'feel' as an SAS gig without the guests, with much clowning around (mostly, but not exclusively Jamie), an abandoned play list, meaning we, the audience, could shout out our requests, and they - the band - would make at least a brave attempt at it, and sometimes a brilliant effort - either way it was always fun.
The whole Brook ensemble sung along to the likes of "Hang on Sloopy", "Lady Madonna" and later "Wooly Bully" (the closing number). Beatles songs littered the gig, and Jamie's unexpected version of "Everywhere", prompted by Toby's keyboard riff, was simply beautiful. When Jamie tried to give up singing "8 Days a week" (twice), we wouldn't let him, and sang on, forcing the band to re-engage. What was great about the show? Everything!! Thanks for a fab evening.” Mary Bampton

“Best LIVE BAND in the WORLD.” Mick Cove

“My wife said the event was one of the happiest days of her life and I know that the music played a big part in that.
Pretty much all the guests came up to me at some stage in the evening to say how good they thought the band was.
The lady who runs the catering company and has seen a wedding or 5,000, said that you were the best wedding band she'd heard.
You'd have got crushed in the rush to the dance floor when you started "Sweet home Alabama", can't explain that one, you'd have thought that 80% were the wrong generation.
Once again, thanks for all your help in making it a really special evening for them.” Robert Cooper
